August 2023 - Present

PRODUCER/DIRECTOR - WKU PUBLIC MEDIA

As part of Western Kentucky University, WKU Public Media provides award-winning journalism and television production, reaching thousands of viewers and listeners.
Helped to expand and oversee production for an average of 65 WKU Hilltoppers athletic events per year broadcast through ESPN+.
Produce programming for air on WKU PBS and online that reflects the culture of the South-Central Kentucky region, including documentaries on Kentucky Bourbon and auto racing in Bowling Green.
Oversee and train crew of 30-40 WKU undergraduate students to work on various productions for the station.
Production roles include Director, Producer, Editor, and Camera Operator.

August 2022 - March 2023

Ensured successful calibration and operation for Puck and Player Tracking and Digitally Enhanced Dasherboards for Nashville Predators home games airing on ESPN, Bally Sports, and TSN for Canadian broadcasts.
Worked on-site to collaborate with SMT operators working remotely and production crews in the arena to ensure equipment was set up and running properly for games.

June 2017 - Present

Assist and work on live sports television productions for major events being held in the Nashville and Mid-South Region.
Worked in roles including camera operator, utility, and video assist for setting up and striking equipment.
Worked live TV events such as the Stanley Cup Finals, NFL Draft, Kentucky Derby, US Figure Skating Championships, as well as NHL, NFL and college football and basketball for networks including NBC, CBS and ESPN.

September 2020 - November 2021

FreightWaves is a leading provider of data and analytics for the logistics and supply chain industries, including through programming on FreightWaves TV.
Collaborated with show producers and hosts to create and broadcast 6 hours of live daily programming.
Edited and delivered programming and sponsored content to online media platforms including YouTube and the FreightWaves website.
Facilitated regular upkeep of production equipment, including cameras, production switchers, audio and lighting.

August 2015 - December 2018

Produce, shoot, edit, and deliver content for The Coach’s Corner, a weekly show centered on the WKU Hilltopper football team.
Collaborate with WKU athletics to create digital video content highlighting various Hilltopper teams, coaches and athletes for social media.
Work closely with student crew to ensure successful TV, livestream, and video board productions for WKU athletics events airing on ESPN, Fox College Sports, and C-USA TV.
Take part in production for a variety of programming, including sporting events, concerts, public affairs, magazine programs, livestreams, and posts for social media.
Work in a variety of positions, including: director, technical director, camera operator, teleprompter, utility, editor.

March 2018 - September 2018

Assist with the production of video packages for TV commercials, social media, in-stadium use, and special events.
Assist with the game day production team; including but not limited to: camera operation, technical direction, video board operation, and playing music/sound effects.
